Maya is a multidisciplinary artist from Istanbul, currently based in London.

She creates still and moving images, sculptures and objects. She uses water colour, ink, pen, pencil, thread, paper, clay and found materials in her works.

In her animations, she uses a mix of analogue methods digitized, like hand drawn frame by frame animation, paper stop motion, incorporating various textures.

Maya graduated from Central Saint Martins.
